The championship layout, designed by Hawtree in 1973.
Country club with two 18-hole courses: the par-72 Kings designed by Hawtree in 1973 and the shorter par-64 Jubilee.
A brief history
Three Rivers Golf and Country Club opened in 1973 with the championship Kings course designed by Fred Hawtree, one of the most prolific British golf architects of the post-war era whose firm shaped countless parkland courses across England. The shorter par-64 Jubilee course was added to broaden the appeal of the venue and to give members and visitors a different style of round on the same site. The club has operated as a country club since opening and remains one of the larger family-owned golf venues in the Maldon district of Essex, with a steady membership and a busy society calendar.
