About the course
Mature parkland course set on the historic Warren Estate near Maldon, hosting golf, weddings and country club facilities.
A brief history
The Warren Golf Club was founded in 1932 on the historic Warren Estate near Maldon, a stretch of Essex countryside that had been in private hands for centuries before opening up to golf in the inter-war years. The course took shape during a period when parkland golf was spreading rapidly through the home counties as small market towns built their own members' clubs. Over the decades the estate has expanded into a wider country club operation, with the golf course continuing to anchor the property alongside weddings, dining and events. It remains one of the longer-established clubs in the Maldon area, with generations of local members passing through.
