Royal Epping Forest Golf Club, established in 1888, occupies Henry VIII's former hunting grounds within ancient woodland near Chingford. The challenging 18-hole course stretches over 6,000 yards through tree-lined fairways and closely cropped greens, with medieval undulations and faint WW2 remains visible across the layout, and lies conveniently close to London transport networks.
