Royal Birkdale is a links course on the North West coast near Southport that has hosted The Open Championship ten times and is regarded as one of the finest in the world. The iconic 1935 art deco clubhouse, recently restored to its original style, combines history with modern facilities including fine dining and a bistro, with visitor green fees from £450–£495 depending on season.
