About the course

Formed in 1891 on Leasowe Common, this links course overlooks the Wirral's north coast with expansive views across Liverpool Bay towards Wales and the Lake District. The club's first captain was the legendary John Ball Junior, an eight-time Amateur Champion who would go on to dominate early twentieth-century golf, and the course remains dominated by Leasowe Castle, a landmark feature that has anchored its landscape for over a century.
