Brackenwood is a private members' club established in 1935 that plays on a municipal course in Prenton. With around 180 members supported by an active ladies section, juniors group, and a thriving seniors division, the club runs an extensive calendar of competitions and social events, including the Wirral Open Golf Championship, which has drawn competitors from across England and Ireland since its inception in 1986.
