About the course

Founded in 1873, West Lancashire is among England's ten oldest clubs and occupies a testing natural links laid out on 200 acres of Mersey-side land near Liverpool. Designed by C K Cotton with two loops of nine holes, the course features characteristic links architecture with elevated greens, deep bunkers, and demanding par-3s, notably the 12th, and plays to a championship par of 72 from multiple tees.
