Founded in 1873, West Lancashire is one of England's ten oldest clubs and occupies a natural links of considerable character on the Mersey coast near Liverpool. Designed by C K Cotton across two hundred acres, the course features the classic two-loop layout with characteristic links undulation, plateau greens, and demanding rough, offering a testing yet rewarding round that culminates with both finishing greens set before the clubhouse.
