Original nine-hole loop threading through mature oaks.
Twenty-seven-hole championship parkland course around a Lutyens-inspired manor house, with three nine-hole loops named Stock, Brook and Manor.
A brief history
Stock Brook Country Club opened in 1992 as one of the larger new-build parkland developments in Essex during the late twentieth-century golf boom. The site is anchored by a manor-style clubhouse designed in the Edwin Lutyens tradition, giving the venue an established country-club presence despite its relatively modern origins. The twenty-seven holes were laid out in three distinct nine-hole loops, allowing for varied competition formats and member rotation. Over the decades since opening it has built a steady members' base and is regularly used for corporate days, charity events and the wider hospitality functions that the manor house was built to support.
