Harry Colt carved this 27-hole heathland course from Surrey woodland in 1912-13, and his original routing survives largely intact today. The designer's masterful routing through forest, complemented by subtle banking and strategic bunkering, creates a course where natural features and architectural intent remain in harmony across all three nines.
