About the course

Royal Wimbledon, the third oldest golf club in England, traces its origins to 1865 on Wimbledon Common before moving to 240 acres of adjacent farmland in 1907. Harry Colt's celebrated 1924 redesign transformed the original Willie Park Jnr layout into the largely intact course played today, where tight fairways lined with gorse and heather provide a demanding challenge over 6,394 yards.
