Founded in 1892 as Newcastle United Workmen's Club, this moorland course moved to its present home on Nuns Moor in 1973. Stretching to 6,600 yards at par 72 with undulating greens and demanding rough, it has hosted Northumberland County Golf Union events and remains a popular proving ground for competitive golfers throughout the year.
