Founded in 1891 at the Town Moor before relocating to Grange Farm in Gosforth, this North East course bears the design signatures of Harry Vardon and Alister MacKenzie, whose 1913 redesign of twelve holes remains celebrated in golf architecture literature. The club continues to attract prestigious county and national competitions and maintains strong standing as one of the region's finest layouts.
