Mature parkland course set across 120 acres of Essex countryside overlooking the River Crouch estuary near Maldon.
A brief history
Burnham-on-Crouch Golf Club was founded in 1923, part of the inter-war wave of clubs that established themselves across coastal and estuary Essex as motoring opened up the wider county to weekend golfers. The course was laid out across 120 acres of countryside overlooking the River Crouch estuary near Maldon and has retained much of its original character. The setting near the historic sailing town of Burnham-on-Crouch gives the club a distinctive maritime atmosphere, and the membership has remained loyal across generations of local families and visiting Crouch-side residents.
