About the course

Perched above the Welsh coastal town of Aberystwyth, this eighteen-hole course designed by Harry Vardon in the early 1900s commands views across Cardigan Bay to Snowdonia and the Preseli Mountains. Blending downland and parkland characteristics, it offers an undulating layout that rewards both shotmaking and imagination, with reliable drainage making it playable year-round.
