Founded in 1897 on the former grounds of a local racecourse and cricket pitch, St Idloes is a nine-hole parkland course in the heart of Mid Wales offering panoramic views of Plynlimon and the surrounding hills. Despite its modest length of approximately 5,500 yards with a par of 66, the course demands accuracy and strategic play, with gorse, heather and tree-lined fairways creating genuine challenge for golfers of all abilities.
