About the course

Established in 1892, Aberdovey is one of Wales' oldest links courses and birthplace of the Welsh Golfing Union. Set within Snowdonia National Park at the mouth of the Dovey Estuary, this James Braid-designed championship course stretches to 6,777 yards with an out-and-back layout shaped by wind and elements. Consistently ranked in the top 100 courses of the UK and Ireland, it regularly hosts the Welsh Seniors' Championship and other national events.
