Founded in 1899 and extended to 18 holes in the late 1980s, Westwood sits in rolling Staffordshire countryside within the River Churnet valley near Leek. The par-70 course straddles both banks of the river, with the front nine offering undulating terrain and the back nine presenting flat parkland fairways, each nine presenting distinct challenges to golfers of varying experience levels.
