Founded in 1903, Walton Heath comprises two eighteen-hole heathland courses in Surrey, each ranked among the UK and Ireland's top fifty. The Old Course, designed by Herbert Fowler and ranked in the World's Top 100 since 1938, has hosted the Ryder Cup, British Masters and Women's Open, whilst the New Course, also Fowler's design, opened in 1907 as nine holes before extending to eighteen in 1913. Both demand precision across exposed heathland and have attracted the game's greatest players, from Jack Nicklaus to contemporary champions.
