Designed by James Braid in 1905, Verulam is an established parkland course in the heart of historic St Albans, best known as the home of Samuel Ryder, who donated the famous Ryder Cup trophy in 1927. Playing to par 72 at 6,429 yards from the medal tees, the course rewards accuracy and a sound short game over length, with mature trees, water hazards and the River Ver providing strategic challenges throughout.
