Established in 1879, Tyneside is among England's oldest golf clubs and the North East's oldest inland venue. Set high above the River Tyne valley, Harry S Colt's 1911 design remains a pure expression of his principles, with eighteen distinct holes spread across 6,068 yards at par 70, benefiting from exceptional drainage thanks to the site's sand and gravel base, allowing year-round play when many regional courses remain closed.
