About the course

Ryton Golf Club, established in 1891, is an 18-hole parkland course set in the Tyne Valley near Newcastle, bordered by the River Tyne. Though just over 6,000 yards, the layout demands accuracy on approach shots and tee work, while the flat terrain and good drainage keep it playable in poor weather; members enjoy reciprocal access to courses across the Tyne Valley Golf Alliance.
