James Braid's 1922 masterpiece, Thorpeness is regarded as one of Britain's finest coastal heathland courses, stretching across 6,311 yards of firm, quick-draining terrain through heather, gorse and birch trees near the Suffolk coast. The hotel offers 36 bedrooms, championship golf breaks with three-course dinners, and notable hosting of major amateur and professional events including the English Seniors Championship.
