Formed in 1924 to bring golf within reach of the local Stocksbridge community, this upland heathland course sits at over 900 feet with expansive views across 40 miles to the Peak District and beyond. Its relatively short par 65 layout belies genuine challenge, with small island greens, rough terrain and wind-exposed par-3s that regularly demand higher scores than the card suggests.
