St Bees occupies a dramatic clifftop setting on the Cumbrian coast, offering nine holes that play as 18 through the use of alternative tees. The course demands precision off the tee to avoid tight fairways and thick rough, while its small, well-bunkered greens and prevailing winds present a genuine test, particularly the signature par-4 5th that runs along the cliff edge with commanding views across the Irish Sea towards the Isle of Man.
