Shaw Hill's 18-hole parkland course was designed by Laurence Allamby and opened in spring 1925 on 100 acres surrounding the Victorian hall. The layout rewards accuracy and course management through strategic bunkering, ponds, a meandering brook, and dense tree coverage, with particular opportunities for long hitters on the par fives.
