About the course

England's oldest golf club, founded in 1608, Royal Blackheath occupies a mature parkland setting in South East London with an 18-hole course shaped by Tom Dunn in 1892 and refined by James Braid in the late 1920s. The par-71 layout demands strategic shot selection through well-defined fairways and carefully positioned bunkers, while a Grade I listed clubhouse provides a distinguished backdrop to a course that balances historic integrity with modern conditioning.
