Royal Ashdown Forest is a members' club centred on two natural heathland courses set within the Ashdown Forest since 1888. The Old Course, famously free of bunkers, ranks among England's top 100 and relies instead on heather, streams and hollows to challenge golfers; the West Course, originally a ladies' club from 1889, winds through mature woodland with tight tree-lined fairways and elevated greens.
