About the course

This Harry S Colt-designed heathland course opened in 1910 and has undergone few major changes, save for James Braid's 1947 bunker work and three additional holes by Cameron Sinclair added in 2004. Set among undulating woodland, gorse and heather in the heart of Northamptonshire, it plays to par 70 and ranks among England's top 100 courses, serving as an R&A Open Qualifying venue.
