About the course

Founded in 1955, Nigg Bay Golf Club operates the par 70 links course Balnagask on the Torry peninsula near Aberdeen, designed by James Braid, Archie Simpson and the Hawtree family. The coastal layout offers rolling fairways with elevated tees and gorse ravines, framed by views across the North Sea and Aberdeen Harbour, with the historic Girdleness Lighthouse and Torry Battery as distinctive features.
