Founded in 1889, Ludlow is the oldest club in the Union of Shropshire and Herefordshire, with James Braid redesigning its 18 holes in 1927. Described as an inland links and renowned for its naturally free-draining sand and gravel base, it offers consistent year-round playability beneath Brown Clee Hill within the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
