Church Stretton is a moorland course established in 1898 and designed by James Braid, positioned at over 1,200 feet elevation in the Shropshire Hills and recognised as one of England's highest golf courses. Playing to just over 5,000 yards, it rewards course management and precision through strategic elevation changes, heather-lined fairways, and artfully contoured greens, with sandy soil and exceptional drainage keeping it playable throughout the year.
