Founded in 1903 at Pachesham Manor and designed by Peter Paxton, Leatherhead is a parkland course set in oak woodland where the majority of the original layout remains intact despite M25 construction in 1984. The course has hosted notable players including Harry Cooper (a future PGA Hall of Fame inductee born at the club) and Alf Perry, who won the Open Championship in 1935 whilst serving as club professional, and continues to attract visitors seeking an 18-hole challenge with recently upgraded facilities.
