About the course

Founded in 1927 by the architects behind Royal Birkdale's redesign, Ifield is a mature parkland course on Crawley's western edge that has scarcely changed over nearly a century. Its par-70 layout of 6,319 yards, arranged in two loops of nine holes, remains as formidable a test today as contemporary reviewers deemed it when newly opened.
