Founded in 1913 and officially opened by Princess Christian, Highcliffe Castle is a coastal members' club set near the Dorset village of Highcliffe-on-Sea. Originally a nine-hole layout designed by Leslie Green, it was extended to eighteen holes in 1927 and remains member-owned; visitors enjoy a fair, challenging test of golf throughout the year with access to reciprocal arrangements at 15 neighbouring clubs.
