Founded in 1897 and situated on a coastal cliff between Christchurch and Lymington, Barton-on-Sea is a private members' club comprising 27 holes designed across two eras: the original Harry Colt layout from 1932 and newer holes by J. Hamilton Stutt completed in 1992. Superior drainage ensures reliable all-year play, and visitors are welcomed provided they possess competent play and sound knowledge of golf etiquette.
