Founded in 1892 on the banks of the River Tyne before relocating to its present site in 1907, Hexham is a parkland course now laid out across 70 acres of the historic Spital estate, with C K Cotton responsible for its current eighteen-hole configuration. The Grade 1 listed clubhouse and grounds have earned praise for their beauty, and the club offers a full range of practice facilities including an indoor swing studio and walled short game area.
