About the course

Formed in 1911 and later redesigned by Harry Vardon, this parkland course spans 100 acres in the Derwent Valley along the Durham and Northumberland border. Stretching 6083 yards with tree-lined fairways and plateau greens, it provides a balanced challenge for golfers of varying abilities, whilst the recently refurbished clubhouse offers excellent catering and bar facilities.
