About the course

Founded in 1887 and designed by J. Morris, Buxton & High Peak is Derbyshire's oldest golf club, built on free-draining limestone at 1,100 feet in the Peak District. The par-69 course, stretching 5,877 yards, frequently draws comparison to an inland links layout, particularly across holes 4 to 6, and offers members and visitors a consistently playable test without the severity of steep hill climbs.
