About the course

Willesley Park opened in 1920 and was later remodelled by Dr Alister MacKenzie, designer of Augusta National. Set across 230 acres within the National Forest, this heathland and parkland course winds through woodland and undulating terrain offering views of Leicestershire countryside and Ashby de la Zouch. The layout features mature tree-lined fairways, well-protected greens and individual character holes, including a distinctive opening played through historic lime trees, and hosts the prestigious annual Leicestershire Fox amateur tournament.
