Opened in 1931 and designed by Guy Campbell, Cecil Hutchison and Stafford Hotchkin, West Sussex is a celebrated lowland heathland course set on sandy soil with heather, pine and birch. The par-68 layout, which plays to 6,333 yards from the back tees, is widely regarded as one of England's finest inland courses and sits within a site of special scientific interest.
