Pay-and-play parkland course in South Weald near Brentwood, now operating as Brentwood Golf Club with eighteen holes and a driving range.
A brief history
Weald Park Golf Club opened in 1994 as a pay-and-play parkland venue in South Weald near Brentwood, part of the wider expansion of accessible golf in Essex during the nineties. The course was developed on parkland land on the western edge of Brentwood and now operates as Brentwood Golf Club, retaining the pay-and-play accessibility that defined its original positioning. The venue has built a steady stream of visiting golfers and society days over the years, supported by an on-site driving range that broadens its appeal to learners and practice-focused visitors.
