Opened in 1919 after design by Abercromby and Colt, The Addington is a heathland course where fairways weave through mature pine and undulating terrain on a par-69 layout. Following decades of tree encroachment, comprehensive restoration work from 2020 has been revealing one of the best-preserved Golden Age designs, with views across London forming a dramatic backdrop to play.
