Founded over a century ago and designed by Harry Colt, Sonning offers 6,329 yards of heathland golf with mature trees lining its fairways and fast, true greens. Martin Hawtree's recent redesign enhanced the layout, including a striking new finishing hole, while Peter Alliss praised the par-3 seventeenth as among the finest short holes in southern England.
