Seaford Golf Club, founded in 1887 as Sussex's oldest golf club, relocated to its current downland site in 1907 when J H Taylor, a five-time Open Champion, designed a course of remarkable longevity that remains one of the county's finest. Perched on a free-draining chalk ridge with sweeping views of the South Downs and English Channel, the 18-hole par-69 course benefits from recent irrigation upgrades and an ongoing five-year improvement programme, whilst the Dormy House provides comfortable overnight accommodation for visiting groups.
