About the course

Rye is a venerable links club on the Sussex coast, founded in 1894 with a course designed by solicitor H.S. Colt, whose work there launched his renowned design career. The Old Course has been refined repeatedly by leading designers including T. Simpson and Sir Guy Campbell, whilst the nine-hole Jubilee Course was added in 1977; both benefit from the club's legendary greenkeeping tradition and its classical par-3 holes have long posed a particular challenge.
