Founded in 1899 and redesigned by Simpson & Co. in 1934, Rhos-on-Sea is a parkland course on the North Wales coast that plays like a links course owing to its seafront setting. With Mackenzie Style two-tiered greens, wide fairways and raised tees, it offers a fair test for average golfers while presenting a stern challenge to lower handicappers, culminating in a memorable island-green 18th hole in front of the clubhouse.
