About the course

Founded in 1906 as a nine-hole course on Lord Ravensworth's land, this Gateshead club expanded to 18 holes in 1913 and now stands as the seventh oldest in Durham County. Its challenging layout features tight fairways and fast greens; members enjoy access to a new clubhouse with views towards The Angel of The North, built in 2003, plus membership benefits across the nationwide 1906 Club network.
