Pontefract & District Golf Club has been welcoming golfers since 1904, evolving from nine holes to its current 18-hole layout designed by the legendary Dr. Alastair MacKenzie in the 1930s. The gently undulating parkland course near the historic market town offers a fair challenge across its varied holes, with notable features including MacKenzie greens and a signature 16th hole that plays into the prevailing wind.
