About the course

Phoenix Golf Club was established in 1932 by workers of a local steelmaking firm on reclaimed scrubland, beginning as a nine-hole course before expanding to 18 holes in 1952 following plans by architect C K Cotton. The easy-walking parkland layout offers a friendly environment for golfers of varying abilities, with open competitions held throughout the year.
